I did make a few alterations to the original pattern. As you can see, the scarf above has two buttons instead of one. I played around with it to see if I wanted the buttnos staggered or one on top of the other but Husband convinced me this looked best. I also decreased the stitch count from 15 to 13. This allows for a little more length and is not so tight around the neck. With blocking, I'm still able to widen the scarf with ease.
I had a little WHOOOPSY with the one above and forgot the button hole in the first few rows. Not to worry, I added it to the end! However, as you can see, this means the tail of the scarf falls down the opposite side of your body than all the others I made. Here are a few other variations:
This last one I opened up a bit more at the neck so the button is a little further down. Again, it's all about personal preference. Such a fun project that doesn't take too much time. Not that I'm wishing for winter, but I'm excited to start wearing my new creation!
